Chapter 17-- Molly and Dolly and Polly: Damian

Last week of March
Melancholy Molly and her sister
Dolly stopped by for a chat with
Eat some pizza Polly
(nick name due to her Appetite for pizza)
again. The three of
Them set out to find a fig tree with its
Delicious dazzling decorations.
Polly said to Dolly I hope when we
Find the tree we may sample some figs or
Else what would be the use of this
Trip demanding all of our energy.
Molly said "you suppose we can
Take it home our selves if it's not to large?"
"Maybe." Dolly said "Why not."
They had walked a solid mile before
Sitting on the curb to rest. "Come
On you two, it's just around the corner."
Polly interrupted then started walking away.
"A man named Bill sold fig trees from
His backyard." Polly murmured as they
Stepped onto the property.
Bill was reading a newspaper on his
Porch when the three approached.
"Well." Bill got to his feet.
"Hello, we would like to buy a
Fig tree. Dolly spoke Shifting her
Weight from one side
To the other "What's your price?"
Dolly insisted on brashness.
"Well." Bill said "about $300."
Molly and Polly began to wrangle
Bluff banter and bid their way to a
Lower price. Various prices were
Mentioned until they finally came
To an Agreement of $200
The tree they chose was to heavy
For them to handle. Polly called
Her boyfriend Damian. He arrived
Ten minutes later. Damian greeted
The sisters quietly then he hoisted
The tree up into the back of his big black
And blue pick up truck. It was a
Modern model, seated all
Comfortably. They left quite
Quickly. "Now wait a minute,
Whose yard will it be in?" Molly
Said folding her arms. "We all
Contributed." Polly added.
Squeezing her folded arms in
Frustration. "BUT... not in equal
Amounts." Dolly made her
Contention obvious. Then purposeful
Pondering was projected. Polly
Reluctantly agreed. "OK!!, she threw
Up both hands to confirm her
Defeat "OK, Damian make a right turn
At this intersection." Polly gave
Directions. "Right here." Molly said
After recognizing their Well
Kept lawn. "I'll come to your house
With y'all for a while." Polly said leaping
From the slowing truck. Damian
Placed the tree in their backyard.
Damian Cautiously questioned
"Am I included in this party?"
Polly push him, "of course you
Are, we're staying for a visit."
She enabled her cell phone and
Immediately began ordering
Pizza. " 2 large pizzas on me!"
Damian said proudly. "You know
Something?" Dolly started but
Damian interrupted saying, "We
Have to become more Acquainted"
He watched Dolly nervously
walk away. Dolly tried not to
Notice him afterwards.
But Damian noticed her.
Damian approached her now saying,
"Be easy Dolly, You know me now."
She said, "there's still some things
We don't know about each other."
Like me and Molly are fraternal twins."
He commented "Isn't that remarkable."
Eat some pizza Polly ordered
two pizza pies.
"Pizza's on me!" Damian said a
second time he was in
A jovial mood as he watched
Dolly. Then he opened the door
Revealing the pizza delivery guy.
Damian was in control he
Gave the Delivery guy $40 and
A thank you. They ate relentlessly.
As dapper Damian helped
Devour 2 pizzas pies.
everybody was hungry when
dapper Damian dished dirty
tricks of prosperous
Sales pitches. And they all sat
Around eating pizza pie and
Talking. After, it was on to the living
Room when Molly noticed Damian
Watching Dolly. Polly was in the
Kitchen searching for a beverage
making herself at home. Damian
Licked his Lips, Dolly diverted
Her eyes and searched for a window.
She was suddenly heated. Damian said,
"Hey Dolly, we're about to leave in a second.
But...I'm sure we'll see each other soon.
Good seeing you again Dolly." Dolly
Reciprocated, "Yes, nice.
and thanks for helping with
The tree." She was relieved To know
They were going to leave but it seemed
As though Damian really didn't want to
Make that trip just then. He checked
On Polly. she was on her phone.
He approached Dolly again with a few
Smooth words and quiet Charisma
Uttering "I hope I'll get to dance with
You at the Copy Cat Club if you plan
On going." She replied with a weak
Barely audible, "Yes ahuh." He smirked
Slyly and said, "Good, good, see you
There Dolly." Then stepped back
Toward Polly's direction. She Could only
Notice his massive body "oho boy."
She heard the door close. While she
Stood transfixed in the living room.
Molly returned to the living room
After Polly and Damian left. "Are
You okay, Dolly?" Dolly wanted to
Confess her attraction for Polly's
Boyfriend. But that was a problem.
Molly probed, "I think I know Dolly,
You are sick, I need a thermometer.
We should take your temperature."
Dolly confessed half way, Molly I'm...
Scared." Molly consoled her, "Stay
Clear Dolly." Dolly laughed, "oh Ha
It's that easy, Molly!" Time passed they
Discussed the final plans of the
Copy Cat Club with Damian and Polly.
