This is a haiku that becomes rich once we delve into it with awareness. The 'caste' is a pivotal word that acts as a hub for thought. Congrats, Richard. // paul

I had to look up that word Caste, I thought you made an error, but now it gives it a whole new meaning and I am even more impressed. Well done!

Interesting...so very different. I was wondering if you really meant caste. Not what you believe in, but interesting for the contest.

His new life as a dragonfly creates a series of new probabilities that did not exist when he was in his previous Caste as a man. His actions in his previous life created the probability that he would become less than he had been. I do not believe in the Caste system but it came to mind for this poetic challange and it speaks to choices we make and the probabilities that change as a result of our choices.

Karma is my Allie Richard, a force of justice, a teacher. Dragons are beautiful, and in most cultures a great symbol of strength and wisdom. I like the metamorphosis feel in this write. J.A.B.
