Changing My Mind
At one time
I thought socialism
was the way to go
But I am entitled to change my mind
I still think working people often have a tough time
here in the U.S.A.
But in the former S. Union
They had it much tougher
The years go on
and the memories of my relatives
dims in the tumult of the years
My grandmother's and my great
aunts Marxism
have faded into shadow
On the other side of my family
they were rather conservative and
religous
I do not think much of D. Trump
But compared to Joe Stalin
he is an angel
I plan to vote
I always do
That is - according to my mother
what they - meaning our armed forces
died for
