Changing Face Autumn

The deepest cut those
striking at one’s very heart
verdant to golden
transformation of nature,
another’s death for a life

So very powerful this is as powerful as mother nature's impact on us through every season.

oh MY, this is THE BEST from first line to last. Loved the imagery at the start and the message at the end. I hope this is the one you enter in the contest. The middle poem also I think would be great for the contest. Luv, Andrea
