Changed Values

With tyranny appreciated and coercion praised
The noble and gentle are bewildered and dazed

Today the world is simply disenchanted
Tomorrow there will be many fingers raised

Yes, Mohammad, the timing is right. I saw our college kids deeply involved for the first time in nearly fifty years (John Kennedy) and I saw celebrations in countries we have difficult time with (Jimmy Carter) and I thought to myself, YES, the right decision was made and a time for unity and a recapturing of the pride we once knew. Hopefully starting today, the change in this country will be a positive one. We will soon be rid of one of our nations biggest problems and his monster VP. Hopefully the Obama era will bring a new light to shine, a beacon for equality and some hope for the middle class. This poem says it all, tyranny appreciated and coercion praised. Vince
