Change Your Gait Right Out of the Gate
What if I write a blank
or draw a curtain…curtains
for me, in this dank poetry.
What pertains to right…
is it wrong to stray, head
the other way, away from
well known artistry. First succeed
in basics…oh the breeding…
the warning heeding…don’t get
all caught up. Let your imagination
run with the bulls, fly with haloes.
Crumble not
under the weight, the crushing heresy
agape…still watch your spelling,
laughing…
unless you meant to…wait for it…
change your gait right out of the gate.
Oh they will hate you…
won’t that be great.
Take fifty paces of oxygen
and don’t be late…don’t be late.
just be great. applause….applause.
