Change the World

A person we thought could lead. Because we thought he'd succeed. Change is what is in store. Doing what is right, not war. Everyone can breathe again once more. Challenges lie ahead but we Hope we can put aside our differences And all of us can stand as one nation. Now we have the chance to be the Greatest generation this world has Ever seen, or we can be the last generation Seen by this world, its our choice. Why would we want war? Change challenges cultures core. Its in international interest I imagine. To topple terrorists trying to traumatize today's trusted top tier. Universally united under untarnished, unprecedented unity. ***for Debbie Guzzi's contest.

Chris, this is just excellent- all of it- and I'd like to see it placed high in the contest. I especially like your accrostic. You're non mussy language just shines with a stellar message. Kudos to you! Cyndi

Hi Chris, goodluck in the Debbie Guzzi's contest, you know, this beautiful poem reminds me of the conversation I had with someone, and this poem supports my point.
