Change the Past
So many times she has prayed hard
that her husband could be beside
her in their bed. She's been alone
for four years, regretting why she
let him go. Why he hurt her
so bad.
So many times she has woken
up from her sleep,
hoping time would carry her away
to a time her husband never
cheated on her,
and explain to him how an affair
can make her become;
as brittle as glass....
