Change, Rebirth and Soul

Change, rebirth, soul.

Some of the most powerful words ever heard by a soul,
yet some of the most disgusting words ever used by a bunch of souls.

Change.

People say they change others rather than themselves,
because the mirror they look into reflects only them,
not the person who asked them to change.

Rebirth.

A story told to countless souls and minds.
And what is left behind is a race to collect good deeds,
not by choice,
but by the fear that they may never live again.

Soul.

Never seen.
Never held.
Never touched.
Yet people divide themselves over its purity.

What makes it?
What breaks it?

No one knows.

And even though they do not know whether they will live again or not,
they continue chasing a life beyond this one,
just as they chase this life now,
running after the next,
and then the next.
