Change
I don't remember the date,
But I remember the season.
There was no great quake.
There was no visible pain.
But deep inside of me,
There was a great change;
Not from alcohol; nor from drugs.
I had not hit rock bottom,
But while still a 14 year old,
There was a change in my soul.
The trajectory of my life, like
A friegth train, switched tracts
And took me in a different direction;
On a path unchanged for 60 years.
Jesus Christ became Lord and Savior
Of my life, and it's in him where I remain.
