Change

When the wind of change

Comes blowing at your door

When you don't know what's good anymore

Do you take the leap

They say you sow what you reap

When the gale blows and you can't see

Confused you don't know where you should be

You worry about the change

Because some of life you will have to rearrange

New is always good they say

But it can be worse in a bad way

It came out of the blue

My husband wanting something new

I must say I am totally confused at this change

I found it even a little strange

One day for no reason

One day in this spring season

The storm hit our door

Wondering if we are in for a hurricane or maybe more.

Change does take some adjusting and the uncertainty is certainly challening too. Most will relate to times like this in their lives. Nice one! Keep on writing! Karen

Perhaps there is a good reason eventually. Remember the sun always shines after a storm. Good luck. Keep the faith. Love, Shar

The tempest of the heart can do more damage than nature's tornado, Phyllis. It's so difficult to accept when the one we love says they want "something new." But the grass is NOT always greener. He will learn. But you, too, can grow from this experience. You have a lot of friends here on Poetry Soup. Love, Carolyn

Phyllis this is heartbreaking. That was not the kind of change I was expecting, I don't know how to comment to this other than I read your pain and pray that God works things out for the best. God Bless, Ron

When we are the bottom ... only up is left ... I fall upward on my knees. Love and light
