Chance
As the world is now in hiding
Tucked away in hopeless fear
Staring from behind their windows
Holding on to what is dear
Outside there’s a monster roaring
Causing many their demise
Having not a drop of mercy
For the righteous or the wise
Silence in the streets and places
What a test to the human stance!
It has the beasts of nature stirring
And they jump right at their chance.
