chameleon
i wish to be a chameleon
to change myself to be what you want
whenever you need it
so i can always be good enough
and i can always be needed
i can change myself to blend in
hide the parts i know you won't like
to be a perfect illusion of what you want me to be
i can camouflage myself
to match you
to morph into what you want
so you never want me to leave
and just to fit in for once
and to be loved unconditionally
even if it isn't me you really like
