Chains
I'm radically inclined
to leave it all behind
as soon as I find
a motive
A purpose to be
purposefully
leaning inward on me
for you
If ever you need
a shoulder to bleed
on a wish I shall submit
the will to make a way
Away with the dreams
that lead to nightmares
away with the means
to care
life creeps across my eyes
with every lie
inching closer towards
absolution
Fulfillment to me
is a word I can't see
it only exists
as a feeling
as the stillness breaks dawn
the movement goes on
far in and beyond
the grave of a slave
for that is all we really are
until the powers that be
come to fall
Join me today
together erase
the pain
that first drew us together
for now or whenever
we must bust out of the mold
or grow old as the first radical idea
