Chainbreaker
I set you free and watch you fly
No longer bound by what we thought was strong
Though in that act, I knew where I belonged:
In the ground, beneath the sky
My shackles broke, a crumbling wall
In freeing you, my spirit found release
A bittersweet and unexpected peace
Though unchained, I mourn the fall
We both are free; no regret I hold
The cost was high, but freedom's worth is more
Though solitary now, we can explore
A revised future: brave and bold
