Chain of Fear

 

We listen to the news and live in fear,
of death, of lies, and of terrible things;
each day the media brings us a tear,
until we wish and pray for heaven's wings.

We feel trapped in an existence of fear,
wrapped in a chain that is growing each day;
the future of this world realm is not clear,
the world leaders seem to only betray.

All humanity lives with daily fear,
brainwashing that kills the spirit and soul;
so, turn off the source and words cavalier,
and gain back what the media has stole.

Bring sweet serene tranquility to dwell;
and shine in God's light and darkness dispel.
