Cerebral Exultation

Seems our love is destined to be Only a cerebral love affair A long distance love but oh so deep Sweet words of affection we share It's almost enough, who am I kidding It will never ever take the place Of feeling your body touching mine Or caressing your gorgeous face No one and I mean not a single soul Has ever made me feel this way My morning sun, my stars each night My reason for rising each day At the risk of repeating over and over The same old words of adoration Came up with a totally new way, my love I'll call it "cerebral exultation" Seems our love is destined to be Only a cerebral love affair A long distance love but oh so deep These words of affection we share © Jack Ellison 2013

You don't know the half of it Mr. Richard! My passions run deep but I sometimes hide them with my silly stuff! Have a great day, my friend!

Dragon says skip the cerebral part and go straight for the roses... He's refering to MY ROSES, no doubt... He says it'll bring her right to you. Where, if you're anything like Dragon...You can scare the heck out of her... Naw! You're not a Silly Old Dragon! You'll win back Cathie's heart... Big fight huh? Try the roses, then the words... Cathie is bound to swoon right back into your arms... You Handsom Devil You!... Yeah... Dragon I called you SILLY... LOL.. Gotta run! Morning fun time!

My friend "cerebral love" as you have coined it, is purified love: Love that got rid of its beastly qualities and rose to "cerebral exultation!" Divine love! Enjoy it! Excellent philosophical approach! When Socrates asked Euripides how did he feel that he could not please a lady any longer for he was old, Euripides replied. " I feel as though liberated from a demon!"

Thank you my good man! Our bodies grow old but our love never does! Many thanks for your eloquent words!
