Cerebral Arachnid Inspiration

What's that I hear -
could it be a spider in my ear?
To some, it might inspire fear,
but that response is too severe -
he'll soon disappear,

crawling into my waiting brain,
if only to escape the rain.
I'm glad I left him alive, unslain,
as he inspired this poem, insane.
Spider - come visiting again.

Spiders are cute. I enjoy the lovely rhyming sentences and the portrayal of a mischievous spider.

Thanks, Hilda. Me too, I like spiders, just fine. Most of the time, we just let each other go about our business, and sometimes I watch them.

The creepiest part about it, is that it's a true story...well, sort of. Before it could walk into my brain, I flicked it somewhere in the vicinity of my kitchen sink. :-))
