Centipede's Feet

Looking back to see Reflections that are beyond me Centipede’s feet lined up so neat Some are oval and some are square One then the other, or a pair Will they move or do they dare? Black, white, yellow, red, brown and blue Each one’s color bold and true No matter, they don’t wear a shoe Motionless the feet do not move The color red holding them like glue An animal in a cage at a zoo Finally on the cue of green The centipede’s feet slowly begin to careen Gleefully, gliding to their daily scene September 2013 By: Richard Long
