Cell Phone Gets the Deep Six

his voice is on mute
since texting takes away words
conversation rare

cell phone dependence
feeling naked without it
how can you reach me?

romantic dinner
disrupted by cell phone ring
eyes glaze, must answer

in great frustration
she chucks cell phone out window
date night is ruined
