Celebrating New Year
We eat…
Not ‘cos there is plenty of food
We drink…
Not ‘cos the enemies had fallen
We dance…
Not ‘cos we won the sacred war
….But simply….
We eat…
Just for the passing of the year
We drink…
Just for another year will come
We dance…
Just for welcoming a New Year
…..You see…
There’s nothing more, nothing less
The whole world, still, without rest
…..Come now…
It is New Year, let’s have some fun
Just do not come with a loaded gun
