The person in question not yet man no longer boy strong, but quite shy poised on the precipice of destiny A river had caught him unawares he with half a paddle head full of hope belly knotted in fear watching deep waters rush along now unsure; then headstrong To cross it he must A crisis of trust Midst the Wind's cruel gusts

Super, Gershon. This is a fine, fine piece of writing. I'm assuming it is a reaction to something that happened in your experience? I love the way it is laid out, too. Good stuff! This poem should definitely be POTD!
