Caught in the Act
Caught in the act, the cat.
Behind-the-couch-brazen,
like a lithe gymnast.
She stretched vaingloriously,
her claws clinging to the fabric.
In rapture, I beheld her Olympic bend.
I’m in awe of her prowess.
Perfectly timed; an amusement.
