Cat eyed insect popped out of the garden today I saw the yellow in its eyes staring at me in a way Big blink and then the insect dove down into clay Surprised me too, for I had not seen it since May What was that? Asked my fellow student, Gay. He had seen it but not here, over there in the hay Must have been another one, I told him and May A mean girl who tried to capture the insect today.
