Casting Stones

I carry in my pocket a simple reminder to me

A single stone; it is nothing special on its own

It bears the weight of truth that each of us in earnest

must embrace.

For if we would stop to think we all have made mistakes.

Before we hasten to judgment remember the stone we throw

May bear the weight of the sin we ourselves own.

So stop and think, what would you do if this stone was thrown at you?

Robert Johnson September 17, 2011 at 7:25 AM I once threw a stone,hit a kid in the head. His dad got real angry, he wished I was dead. Just what was the reason we had our exchange. Looking back now, it all seems so strange. I feel really bad,he was younger than me. and then,years later,he passed away tragically.

I guess this is one of those thing grandparent say / so,like tieing knotts in hankies to remind them of things. Really very good.
