Case Dismissed True Story
It was another so so day in the courtroom
No reporter with their note pad, no big cases
The Judge may have been hung over, but who knows
They had to wait, the court reporter was in the restroom
Everyone was half asleep, a lot of long faces
No one was really on their toes
The lawyers were trying to decide which side of the truth
That they were going to be on that day
Mostly traffic tickets, if times a divorce or two
Like they were all fighting for the truth
Bottom line though someone had to pay
Most would do what they had to do
The Judge entered, took his place on the bench as usual
At the defense table, the lawyer and his defendant
She had a short skirt on, wore a lot of make up
Her young lawyer was laid back, dressed sort of casual
She was a lady of the night in this incident
Had spent the night in the local lock up
She crossed her legs with a big smile, whispered in her attorney's ear
"We have got this one won, the Judge was my date last night"
The lawyer almost had a cardiac arrest
Then out of desperation and fear
Ran to the bench to shed this new light
The old Judge would be put to the test
His eyes blinked several times and rolled to the back of his head
Coughed and stuttered, the lawyer took his seat
She smiled and said, " Baby, he has been kissed"
The Judge just knew that he was dead
In the middle of winter, he was feeling the heat
"The defendant has entered some kind of plea.........CASE DISMISSED
