Carry My Life

22 May 2021 2:58 Carry my life day by day From your hand may I never stray You promiced in you precious book That nothing can take me as to you I look But temptations are strong and I am weak My heart starts to wander then my feet start to sink Between the fingers of your strong hand When in your palm is where I was told to stand I see a wonder and I am enticed A serpant of gold and eyes cold as ice So strange to see a beauty to behold Not realizing it is realy made of fools gold I reached out to that serpant who whispered mystery I soon felt his bite and my soul felt missery Looking down between Gods fingers eternity I see Dear God what have I done please help I'm falling between I look up to you Jesus and I fell back into your hand I crawled back into your palm and here I can stand The bite is healed the poison is gone My soul is not sick I am again strong I am so grateful that you love me so I love you to so please don't ever let go Carry my life day by day And never from your palm may I stray
