Carry- On
It doesn’t take a genius
With a pair of seeing eyes
And the slightest bit of judgment
To calculate a size.
Yet, I am really puzzled
My feeling is so strong
My mind is just so boggled
How so many can be wrong.
Whenever I must fly somewhere
I’m careful and I’m leery
I usually have one case to check
And a small one I can carry!
The airline says your carry-on
Be a certain size - that’s it.
Otherwise it must be checked
That way all carry-ons will fit!
But certain people just ignore
The carry-on restrictions.
Which is very inconsiderate
They have faulty convictions.
Their “carry-ons” are so dam big
It really is a crime
They fill up all the overheads
Which can take too long a time.
These nerds are inconsiderate
Other passengers are disrespected
Part of the fault lies with the airline
and this problem needs corrected.
If all who fly would just abide
and do what should be done
boarding and deboarding
would be easier for everyone!
