Caroling Mice

The carolers came out of barns, sheds, houses, and out from under rocks.
They climbed out of baskets, boxes, barrels, and striped Christmas socks.
They came running to sing, and they made the prettiest sound of all.
But the audience began running away when we gave the mouse call.

I had a mouse fountain in my garage once - they kept running up and out of a garbage bag full of stuff. I will never forget watching that as they ran in all directions including mine.
