Gold light caresses the clouds gray
Where spring green dots forest deep
Tassels give way to tender leaves
While nature awakes from sleep
A woodpecker rivets on metal
Drowning out the morn's peace
Undisturbed birds perform harmony
As winter's cold decrease
The doves' coos float across the hollow
Mingling with roosters' crows
Free symphony for all who listen
Melodies to help grow
