Capture the Moment
Man cutting grass
The dogs moving pass
Wind blowing leaves
In extremely tall trees
Colors vibrant
Sun shinning
Books nearby
Fly by my side
It watching me
Me watching it
As we both listen
To sound of the mower
The collection of
Langston Hughes open
Pink and white before my sight
He just glided closer to me
As if he knew I would cause no harm
Flies I like not
But he has my attention
Again he moves two steps down
Still observing me
As I observe it
Sun on my legs
Dirt bright red
Some grass taller than other
A mesh of hay
Display dry grass n ground
Another step closer he flu
Me still watching him
Him still watching me
Is this fly gonna leave me be
Ashy feet
Buttocks hurting from my wooden seat
Dogs communicating one with another
Fattest bees I’ve ever seen
Yellow and red leaves
Voices in the distant
What they say no instance
Red bird on a fence
Crooked flying plane in the air
Just hanging out there
Me the mover the flies and the bees
The red birds and squirrels in the trees
No body bothering me
Just a little fly seeing ten of me!
