Capture On the Free Spirit

Soared the free spirit of the snow bird, and Wheeled delirious above defiant ground, her Lily wings unfettered beat, cooled the sun's face, And stirred complacency of the clouds. She cared for nothing but her release, and Lighted deft for phantom instants, upon Men's stony hearts, chipping them a fraction, Then vanished stripped of meagre trace. Until his eclipse laid still her flight, and Crooned the wind song melody, she tarried, more Than ever before, and then, too late, smitten Semi-clipped, she surrendered unto love. He wrought magic capture on the free spirit, yet Begs the query "Why? Why me?", not Reasoning, at the vital core, love Demands no answer.
