Captain of All

You can look to the stars if you want to,
but you will not find happiness there.
You can ponder great truths as the wise do,
but you will not find many who care.

Try looking at things that are easy to see,
the oyster of resources so easily found,
the land that is screaming—opportunity!
The meaning you seek is here on the ground.

Hunger, passion, acquisition, and wealth,
your senses cascade you with purpose sublime.
Conquest is integral to humankind's health,
aimed at a vision of life at its prime:

The world in your palm, reality sings,
be captain of all, with power o'er all things.
