The waves go crashing on the rocks The cliffs are grey and red Childrens’ voices ring out clear As the gulls go ghosting by The sea feels colder than the blue it looks Next stop Antartica helps In summer ice cream still helps To calm flustered bodies A ship sail serenely by As the seal struggles to grip On the headland camera shutters click Capturing the moment

I have seen images of Cape Schanck but never had the chance to visit Australia it looks absolutely amazing Alan - great imagery in your lovely poem:-) hugs Jan xx
