Can't Pretend

When will my broken heart mend?
I'm dying inside.
But I can't pretend.
We swore for life
as husband and wife.
Now is when it ends.
that story's a lie.
Your much more than friends.
I won't let you hurt me again.
You took my all
now I take the fall.
O, what a fool I've been.
tears fill my eyes.
no compromise.
And I can't pretend.
When will my broken heart mend?
