Canon In D Ii
I light the flame; the music plays its tune
I close my eyes at breathing’s gentle sigh
To feel you resting there upon my thigh
And there we lay beneath the lady moon.
While willow trees are whispering the breeze
My fingers linger in your ruffled hair
The sparks of love’s arcane spell fill the air
And in a kiss, I feel your lips that tease.
At last, my skin can feel your gentle touch
In simple pleasures of a lover’s song
For this, no wait could ever be too long
My heart is full; I love you so very much.
There is nothing on this earth I wouldn’t do
So I ask can you feel my love for you.
