Cancer Sucks

CANCER SUCKS...
3 days before my 30th birthday
You slipped away
Your contagious laugh
Your witty sarcasm
You were so outspoken
It was rough for me
We didn't live in the same building
We didn't see each other
On a daily basis
You still meant the world to me
I seen you every now and then
Called and texted when ever we can
It felt like every single day
I feel a sinking feeling in my heart
Now that my grandma is far apart
That will never tear us apart
Remembering the last words
You laughed with me...
NOBODY UNDERSTANDS YOU BUT YOU
NOBODY WILL EVER UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH
SO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF MAMI...

Great poem about how devastating it is to love a wonderful grand-mother. Well done, Skylisha.

Such a beautiful write, it was full of emotions, you see in my family many people died of cancer, my grandfather, grandmother, cousin, and many others so I know how painful it is, the feeling of slowly slowly finishing, the slow and painful death, it s really painful, the treatment, the chemo almost kills you, I have collected so much information on it that it s mt wish that I never got it because I know how painful it is, may God saves all of us from it and gives us a peaceful death
