Cancel Culture Thinking
Cancel Culture Thinking

It’s a melancholy time in which we’re now living,
Many have become takers and fewer are giving.
We constantly shy away from a differing opinion,
While living in fear of losing part of our dominion.
We seldom agree and feel we’re fighting for survival,
So we cancel others out for some measure of reprisal.
We’re intent on pot stirring, keeping animosity fresh,
Most everyone feels entitled to their pound of flesh.
By refusing to compromise our door’s off the hinge,
And we Cancel another as the purest form of revenge.
We try to hurt others because we’re filled with hate,
Does God shed a tear when another we berate?
God didn’t place vengeful thoughts in our mind,
And Cancel Culture thinking shows we’re unrefined.
Ephesians 4;32 kjv
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
