Can You Make Me Free

Strange is the cause as you pause to look beyond me
Strange is the soul when it lacks appeal
Troubled by rage
Caged it must stay
Only a thought would be so grand
A little glance might brighten the day
But you stay so far away
Maybe a nerve is all I need
Some strange world to explore
Get beyond the wall
Between me and you
My jungle I am banished to
Vines so strong
Covers the path
Tricky it seems to utter the word help
Fought so hard
Cold I will stay
Ain't about you
Only me I be to blame
Cascaded aside all my life
Struggle for a means
The pain all the same
So many excuses
So many dreams
What's the place for someone so strange
Locked behind cells of hurt
Can you make me free?

Some of the most beautiful things in life are those you struggle with the most. All journeys begin with the first step...Thank you for sharing :)
