Can You

Can you stop the rain from falling
when it's just begun?
Can you snatch the moon away
or maybe take the sun?

Can you pluck the stars out
of the blackest night,
or can you take the dark away
and make yourself the light?

Can you reach your journeys end
before you've even started,
and can you put two hearts together
before they've even parted?
