Can I Breathe
I'm tired of being weighed down by depression
I like to speak from my heart rather than keep them guessing
I've been strong for so long, Could you forgive me for being weak?
I need some time alone to deal with my thoughts, so Can I breathe?
This generation live for drugs and party songs
I'll look at the pictures, But I'm tired of The Kardashians stripping to their thongs
Why don't they use their power to inspire a girl who's struggling?
Instead they make girls think they can only succeed by stripping, and that's troubling
I like his music, but even I'll admit that Drake is overrated
You act like he's Shakespeare even when his line is the most basic
This generation put celebrities on such high pedestals and then act shocked when they fall
Will you make the most of your time, or just watch the clock on the wall?
I wish the best to every person who's moving forward, despite what they might leave behind
I have a lot more respect for a girl who's honest and admits she's going through a rough time
More than I respect a girl who posts a half naked picture
I admire those who say how they feel without needing to first drink Liquor
People only say hateful things to people they know they can't compete with
Use their hate as motivation, take it and keep it
they will only try to bring you down for one reason
Because they're going no where in life, and don't want anyone else succeeding
Every mistake I made eventually became a blessing
Speak how you feel, don't leave them guessing
We may not be on the same page, but we can both read
Sometimes I need to take a step back, now I'm better after taking the time to breathe
