Can Faith Still Leap

Each reason placed tenderly on the scales
in meticulous search of the Holy Grail

Do we believe in us, or do we yet doubt
~ Can Faith still Leap... Do we tie this knot

A wonderful write. Much to think about. Faith is always there. One may or may not use it. Have a blessed day...............

I think that faith can "still leap"

Lots to think about in this fine work of yours Gershon: Well...are we speaking of Blind or tried and tested? Don't know that the trouble with youth (the world) today is a lack of faith...but more, never being alone with one's thoughts long enough to form an independent opinion. Commercial and Government manipulation.

I hear what you're saying, Joe. Great point. The world today sucks its thumb. :) gw

Sometimes you just have to take that leap-and are so glad you did! You gotta have faith. :)

That's right, Evelyn. You gotta have faith! Thanks, Gershon

I think if we know where we are leaping our faith will increase accordingly. ;0)

Interesting idea, Richard... How about this old adage? -- 'Seeing is believing.' That, of course, is simply not true. Belief requires trust/faith in something you cannot see!! So, too, with 'leaps of faith.' If you know whereto you are leaping, then (of course) faith is either not required or greatly minimized... Food for thought (possibly thoughtS), anyway. ~ Just sayin' :) gw

A leap of faith is less scary when you have trust in each other (at least that is my read on it!)

Sure, it's less scary to leap -- when there's a safety net to catch you... Then again, can you call that a leap?... Surely, it's not a leap of faith... This can be applied to business as well, I believe. One reason we are headed straight to socialism -- read, communism; read dictatorship of the Xi and Kim types -- is that fewer educated younger people lately have had any stomach for risk-taking, for taking leaps... HOWEVER, surprise and shock, I think that bitcoin, dogecoin, etc. may just 'save America.' Seems that the the 18 - 34 cohort has gone wild for the riskiest thing since betting that the Flat-Earthers have it right... We'll see... Take care, Michelle. ~ gw
