The life we live is it the inevitable truth
There’s not enough substantial proof
It leaves a heart and mind in a state of stupor
The deceitful words went up into smoke and vapors
So many lie to hide mistakes
Just be real and not fake
Lies destroys the foundation of trust
Blows away like ashes and dust
They say the truth will set you free
I believe so will honesty
Truth always show’s itself especially in the light
Lies destroys mankind’s plight
God’s words are seedlings planted in our hearts
The vines grow to loosen our heart, mind, and soul that’s how the truth starts
Behind everything there is always something hidden from plain sight
It’s no other way to put it either you’re wrong or right
A hidden lie is sequestered with a smile
To find the truth would you go that extra mile?

Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

Psalm 101:7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.

What you do in the dark will come out in the light! I enjoyed this truth as told by your words of genuine hope for mankind if all would but listen. We exist - we good people exist, we are just quieter. Thank you for writing an inspirational and spiritual renewing poem ... CayCay
