This poem is not free verse it is a form called Cameo and I chose the cameo gem as the subject. This form is not listed.

Real cameos are very special. They add a lot of Old World charm to any outfit and can be worn as a choker, a broach or as earrings.

The form here is a seven line unrhymed, syllabic verse form. The count is 2,5,8,3,8,7,2

Cameo

Choker
A velvet ribbon,
Adorned with a sweet cameo.
Old, Antique,
Valued for it's ancient beauty.
A special gem to pass down.
Priceless
