Calling For Jesus

We call out for Jesus when we scream in fright
We search for his hand in the darkest night
His name on our lips when our jaws drop in amazement
A name on our lips when we’re angry and impatient
Is Jesus present in Christmas?
Is his face on our gifts and cards?
Jesus Christ!
Jesus Christ!
We say out the name Jesus in a loud call
Is the Jesus we call the one closest to our soul?
