Notes About The Poem

CALL OF ELSEWHERE

A restless wind stirs deep within me,
softly urging movement,
hinting of paths unexplored.

It whispers of risk
of roads not taken
of horizons unseen.

I’m like the ocean's tide~
greeting the shore,
leaving, and returning
changed~
never totally anchored,
never fully gone.
always listening
for the next soft call of
elsewhere.

Nicely done... true to form... though this is not you, at least not anymore; now it works for others. ~ gw btw, it's not me either. Not anymore. Too many disappointments

Your last paragraph lingers and stirs imagination and triumph of wanderlust. Love it Sara! :)
