Call Me In the Morning
Lost in the mess you’ve made
Hoping to find yourself
Barefoot in the rain
But the clouds are heavy
You once told me to listen to the ocean
You had so many words unspoken
No wonder you can't sleep
Lying on the floor; you’re broken
I remember you once said
“If I ever need a shoulder to cry on,
Just call me in the morning”
Now the image of you is in my head
You weren’t there for me
You went right past everything
While I was standing there
Right beside the willow tree
I saw everything that happened
And now that you’re in trouble
And for a moment everything blackened
Now that you need my help you come back crawling
I guess you can call me in the morning.
