Call Me Firestarter

Yes I can tell you I really liked school. And yet sometimes I'd break a rule. Peer pressure would drag me down. Often I acted like class clown. One day we were sneaking a smoke in the girl's bathroom when all hell broke. Up the hall a teacher came. And surely I would catch the blame! Tossed my smoke right in the trash. Thought it was out-guess that was rash! Teacher came in and let out a scream. The trash can ablaze was a really bad dream! Anxiously I awaited my fate. My regret came just a bit too late! Knew my parents would not be happy. Suspended and grounded would be crappy! written 5/13/2015

Very clever rhyme - guess we have to realise at a young age that we are responsible for our actions - loved your take on the theme - congrats on your win:-) The kids still smoke at our school - same old names on the after school detention list! Hugs Jan xx
