Bygone Days

Gone are the times when we did play when laughter swept us through the day when sunshine filled the world we knew with petals wet from morning dew with lilac trees and sagebrush brooms and e'er the sweet honeysuckle blooms What would I give to relive an hour of bygone days when sunshine filled the world we knew and laughter filled our days.

I have found over the years, that often times, our dreams, while not always exactly accurate, can be our own private time machines, taking us back to relive, what are sometimes joyful memories, other times not so joyful, but when I awaken from one of these, I am always grateful.
