Very melancholy for me ... I adore the summer - full of life and green and sunshine! I shall not let it go yet, but I LOVED your poem! Congrats, My Friend - well-deserved, as always! <3

hi hon I think lines 1 & 2 would be connected grammatically if you put "as" instead of [blue] now [I believe?] they are connected conceptually but not grammatically...and maybe give us a concrete sensory image for line 3? like [empty swing set] or [recess bells ring]light 7 love

This sure is beautiful, Andrea! I like how you made that sun "slide"and the asters "wave"-- it sounded so playful and summery-- reminds me as well of pool slides & waves-- very cool how you evoke so much summer in these 3 lines! Way to go for you! I hope this places high, sweetie :D hugs to you!

Yeah! I am sooooo glad to see a poet chose a color other than red orange or yellow for this season. I love the idea of asters waving goodbye in the fields. Amazed again with your work. Gwendolen
